Weddings at First Christian Church
Our sanctuary and outdoor garden is available for weddings. We would be delighted to help you plan your special day.
Package:
- Use of Sanctuary or Garden and/or Fellowship Hall (4 hours)
- Use of trellis inside or out (may add decorations)
- Rooms for the bride and attendants and grooms and groomsmen
- Set up and use of the back of the sanctuary, garden, or fellowship hall For reception (you bring wedding cake/ punch/ finger foods/ paper products/ decorations) we supply tables, chairs, and tablecloths.
- You may use prerecorded music (ours or yours) or our music minister will play for the service for an additional $75.00
- Our Pastor will have 2 meetings with you {one to get acquainted and talk about marriage (including insightful personality information) and the other to help you design your perfect wedding service}, and on the day before the wedding (if needed) conduct a rehearsal of the service, then on the day of the wedding perform your wedding service.
Up to 35 people {including the wedding party} $300.00
36-50 people {including the wedding party} $450.00
51-75 people {including the wedding party} $550.00
The back of our sanctuary sets up into a lovely space for a small wedding to enjoy the reception right in the same room. You may also choose to move to the fellowship hall. Our outdoor garden makes a wonderful place for a ceremony and reception. You may place additional potted plants in the garden and then take them with you. The trellis has lights which you may use or not and is easily decorated with flowers, garlands, and ribbon. Our wedding coordinator and pastor will be able to help you with ideas and meaningful symbols to add to your decorations.
*Please note that the use of the kitchen is not included but you or your caterer are welcome to bring finger foods and non-alcoholic beverages. We have electrical outlets available inside and outside for warming.
