Monday Morning Bible Study

10:00a.m. the group meets in the kitchen over coffee and tea and baked goods to study the book of Acts. Everyone is welcome. Just bring your Bible or borrow one of ours and join the group.

Acts is an exciting book to study.  We return to the time after Christ's crucifixion and resurrection to experience the birthing of Christ's church and to discuss the issues they discussed.

Whether you have studied the Bible all your life or are trying it for the first time you have a place waiting in our group. Our pastor is the teacher and she always has something nurturing for us to ponder as we study.

Wednesday Evening Spirituality Class

7:00p.m. the group gathers in the library (down the hall from the sanctuary, the library will be on your left). This year the Spirituality Class is studying issues that have been with the church from the beginning to the present day and how these issues react with our spirituality. Spirituality is the ‘awareness of God’ that each of us experiences. On occasions we include studies of various Eastern religions and philosophies.

We are each experiencing according to our life exposures to religion and our particular ways of gathering and processing information. This class will help each person with their particular journey and struggles. The class will help with putting some perspective on the institutional side of Christianity – something we all have to deal with regardless of whatever denomination or denominations you have so far experienced.

The class is taught by our pastor who is a certificated Spiritual Director and has not only led many classes but worked for many denominations.  We always welcome everyone to our class regardless of current church affiliation.Spirituality is nondenominational.
